Web29 de jan. de 2024 · High FOC does not exactly mean more penetration. Overall arrow weight does. I like FOC 15%+. I like the weight up front for arrow flight. I have found that higher FOC gives me better flight with fixed blade broadheads and it will hold more momentum at longer distances. I personally do not worry too much about speed. Web8 de dez. de 2024 · So I’m not claiming to be an expert. Currently, I shoot 65# at 29” draw, and a 400g (total weight) arrow with 100g broad head. FOC is roughly 11%, and it took down the buck I shot this year with authority. However, the more I research, the more clearly it seems the heavy FOC guys are onto something.
