I understand that the TR6 had a “normal” handbrake with a standard ratchet. If this is so I would like to convert to that if only for the sake of marital harmony. Can the group confirm whether this is the case?

WebJan 28, 2009 · Posted 28 January 2009 - 12:16 PM. propper hydraulic "fly off's" are connected in line to the rear brakes, so as you pull the lever towards you it will lock the rears while turning. thats mine, can see the braded fuel lines going to the hand brake unit, i still have normal hand break with is obviously a 2nd mean if hydraulic system shoudl fail.
